Community Guidelines

SIVE is a private members network built on mutual respect, trust, and elegance. These guidelines ensure every member enjoys a safe, refined experience.

1. Overview

SIVE is an invitation-only private hospitality network for verified members and hosts in Dubai. Membership is a privilege, not a right. By joining, you agree to uphold the standards that make this community exceptional. "Ladies First" describes the curation focus of the network — it sets the tone of how we host, not who may apply; all eligible adults aged 21+ are accepted and reviewed under the same lawful, non-discriminatory standards required by UAE law.

These guidelines apply to all interactions within the platform – events, chats, profiles, and any associated communication.

2. Expected Conduct

SIVE is a private hospitality access platform. Members must use the Platform only for lawful, respectful, social, and hospitality-related purposes.

Treat every member, host, and venue staff member with respect and courtesy.
Be authentic – your profile must accurately represent who you are.
Dress appropriately for all events as specified by the host or venue.
Refrain from any form of harassment, threats, blackmail, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour.
Do not engage in any solicitation, paid intimate or sexual services, or any unlawful or unauthorised commercial arrangement through the Platform.
Do not exploit, coerce, or take unfair advantage of any other member, host, or venue staff member.
Do not solicit or promote services, products, or personal brands without explicit approval.
Do not impersonate others, create fake or misleading profiles, or bypass identity verification.
Maintain discretion about other members you meet through SIVE.

3. Event Etiquette

Arrive punctually – late arrivals may be turned away at the host's discretion.
Honour your RSVP. If you confirm attendance, your seat is reserved for you.
Follow venue-specific rules regarding photography, recording, and social media sharing.
Consume alcohol responsibly – SIVE will not tolerate disruptive intoxication.
Respect the host's authority at each event. They have final say on event-related decisions.

4. No-Show & Cancellation Policy

Your RSVP is your word. No-shows undermine hosts and take seats from other members.

Cancellation Window

Cancel at least 4 hours before the event starts to avoid a no-show record.

How we handle missed events

1st missed event: A written reminder only. No automatic penalty is applied — we recognise that life happens, and check-in may legitimately have been missed even if you attended.
Repeat pattern: If a pattern of missed events develops, an admin will review the record before any restriction is applied. You will be contacted and given an opportunity to respond before any restriction or temporary pause on event access.
Persistent pattern after review: Continued unexplained no-shows after admin contact may lead to a temporary pause on event access and, in clear-cut cases, to membership revocation pending appeal.

Not being checked in at the door is not, by itself, treated as a no-show. Check-in can fail for reasons that are not the member's fault (venue queue, door device, host workload), so a missing check-in is reviewed by an admin together with other signals before any consequence applies.

If something genuinely came up

Genuine reasons (medical, family, travel disruption, work emergency) can be raised by email and will be taken into account in any review. There is no need to provide documentation unless an admin specifically requests it.

5. Communication Standards

Keep all communication within SIVE respectful and appropriate.
Do not send unsolicited promotional messages to other members.
Do not share other members' contact information without their explicit consent.
Report any inappropriate messages immediately using the in-app reporting feature.

6. Member Privacy

Do not photograph, record, or share information about other members without consent.
Event photos may be taken by official photographers – opt out at the event if you prefer.
Your verified identity is protected. We do not share personal details with other members.
Screenshots of private chats or profiles are prohibited and grounds for suspension.

7. Reporting & Enforcement

We take every report seriously. Our moderation team reviews every report by hand.

How to Report

Use the report button on any profile, message, or event page. Include as much detail as possible.

Enforcement Actions

Verbal warning (trust score unaffected)
Formal warning (trust score reduced)
Temporary restriction (limited feature access)
Temporary suspension (full account freeze)
Permanent ban (irrevocable)

8. Host Responsibilities

Hosts must ensure a safe, welcoming environment at every event.
Accurately represent event details – venue, capacity, dress code, and inclusions.
Manage guest lists professionally and communicate any changes promptly.
Report any incidents or member behaviour issues through the host dashboard.
Hosts who consistently receive low ratings may have their hosting privileges reviewed.

9. Appeals Process

If you believe an enforcement action was unfair, you may appeal through the app.

Navigate to Settings > Account Status > Appeal.
Provide a clear, respectful explanation of your perspective.
Include any relevant evidence or context.
Appeals are reviewed personally by our moderation team.
The appeal decision is final. Repeat offences reduce appeal eligibility.

10. Policy Updates

We may update these guidelines as SIVE grows. Members will be notified of material changes via in-app notification and email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated guidelines.
