Data deletion · Legal

Version 1.0
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, Article 15) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Article 17), you may request deletion of your SIVE account and the personal data we hold about you at any time, free of charge, without giving a reason.
This page is the public entry point for that right. You do not need to be signed in to read this page or to begin a deletion request.
SIVE offers two routes. Use whichever is easier for you — both lead to the same outcome.
If you can still sign in to your SIVE account:
If you have lost access to your account, never finished sign-up, or simply prefer email:
If you write to us from a different email address than the one on file, we may ask for one additional piece of information to verify the request is genuinely yours, in line with PDPL Article 14.
Once your request is verified and processed, SIVE removes the information that personally identifies you:
Honest disclosure: a small number of operational fields (date of birth, city) and any background push-subscription records are not actively scrubbed by the same job — they either remain attached to the "Deleted Member" row with no link back to you, or are cleaned up when their normal lifecycle expires. If you would like any of these scrubbed on request, email support@joinsive.com and we will do it manually within 30 days.
Some records are kept where UAE law obliges us, or where they are genuinely necessary to keep other members' records intact, to prevent fraud, or to defend a dispute. After deletion these records are no longer linked to your name, email, phone, or photos — only to the anonymised "Deleted Member" label.
If a law-enforcement or regulator request requires us to preserve additional records, we will hold them under quarantine — with access restricted to authorised personnel only — and delete them as soon as the obligation ends.
If you believe SIVE has not handled your deletion request lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office (the supervisory authority under the PDPL). If you are an EEA or UK resident, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
Our preference is always to resolve the matter directly — please contact us first at support@joinsive.com so we can put it right.
