1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site recognise you between visits and pages — for example, to keep you signed in. "Local storage" works similarly: small values your browser holds for the website. Throughout this policy we use "cookies" to cover both.

2. The cookies SIVE uses

The table below lists every cookie and local-storage entry SIVE sets across our marketing site (joinsive.com) and our app (app.joinsive.com). We do not add cookies for any purpose other than those listed here.

3. What SIVE does not use

For clarity, SIVE does not set or rely on:

Third-party advertising or remarketing cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc.).
Cross-site tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or social-media tracking widgets.
Analytics that profile you across other websites.
Any cookie that is sold or shared with data brokers.

We may, in future, introduce a privacy-respecting first-party analytics cookie to understand which marketing pages perform well. If we do, this policy will be updated in advance under the change-notice provisions of our Privacy Policy.

4. Cookie scoping

All SIVE cookies are host-only. The marketing site (joinsive.com) and the app (app.joinsive.com) each set their own cookies and cannot read each other's. This is a deliberate security posture — it limits the blast radius if a browser ever leaks a cookie value.

5. Push notifications

Separately from cookies, SIVE supports browser push notifications. When you opt in, your browser issues a push-subscription token that we store server-side so we can deliver event alerts and messages. You can revoke this at any time in your browser's notification settings, in your operating-system notification settings, or in your SIVE notification preferences inside the app.

6. Your choices

Strictly necessary cookies are required for SIVE to work. If you block them, you will not be able to sign in or use the app.
Functional cookies (the local-storage entries marked above) can be cleared at any time from your browser's settings without breaking SIVE.
You can clear all cookies for joinsive.com and app.joinsive.com at any time in your browser's privacy settings.
You can deny push notifications when prompted, or revoke them later from your browser or operating-system settings.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we add or remove a cookie. For material changes we will provide at least 15 days' notice via the app or by email, in line with our Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
